Remote Access

For 24/7 remote access to library subscription electronic resources using your WSU Network ID and password try one of the following:

  1. Login to SearchIT through Okta.
  2. Use Open Athens links to "login through your institution" from publisher sites off campus.  Please note that this option will not work with the following publishers: AMA/JAMA, ACP/ASIM, Associated Professional Sleep Societies , Kanopy, MIT Press, Portland Press Biochemical Journal, Health Affairs, SAGE, Oxford, American Institute of Physics, U. Toronto/JVME. Use another method to access these subscriptions.
  3. Configure Google Scholar for WSU under Settings>Library Links>Washington State University; if you have access to multiple libraries you have the ability to select more then one institution
  4. Download LibKey Nomad browser extension on your desktop or laptop. LibKey Nomad does not work on mobile devices like iPads.

Interlibrary Loan

The interlibrary loan service allows students, faculty, and staff to acquire journal articles and books that are not immediately available through the WSU Health Sciences Library collection. Find the SearchIT catalog record for the item using the DOI/PMID lookup or search for the title. Login to the SearchIT catalog record for an item to quickly autofill the interlibrary loan request form. If you are unable to locate a catalog record for the item a blank form is linked below.
