The Association of Computing Machinery' ACM Open model is a transitional stage between a fully open access publishing model and a subscription model. At present Libraries pays subscription fees to gain access to publications in the ACM Digital Library and to make all WSU authored articles Open Access. It is ACM's intention to make all of its ACM digital library open access in the years to come.
