Washington State University Libraries have negotiated agreements with some open access journal publishers for reduced or no article processing charges (APC's). Current agreements are described in this guide. Washington State University Libraries does not have an open access fund.
It is assumed that Article Processing Charges (APCs) for open access publication in a journal will be paid by a funding agency or by the author’s institution. Be sure to include this discussion in grant proposals. Alternatively you may be able to publish a green open access copy in our own institutional repository (WSU Research Exchange), or in a disciplinary repository.
