This guide will give you basic information you need to find and view ebooks from the WSU Libraries.

Getting Started with eBooks

How to find eBooks at WSU Libraries:

Enter a keyword or phrase into Search It, and then limit to eBooks on the left side, under Type (you may have to click show/hide filters to make this appear). OR in Advanced Search, limit to eBooks under Material Type.


2) Search directly in an eBooks database. Links are provided below.

You may also "check-out" and download an eBook for a limited amount of time. This detailed process is covered in a separate LibGuide:

eBooks Databases Available at WSU

There are two main databases that contain academic eBooks (University or academic publishers, monographs, original research, etc.). You can find all of the eBooks via Search It, but you can also search directly in their system if preferred.

WSU Libraries also has several other databases that contain eBooks of various types, including encyclopedias, dictionaries, and other reference material. You can see a full list of eBook databases at the following link.
