SPORTDiscus (EBSCO) This link opens in a new window
This database offers comprehensive, bibliographic coverage of sport, fitness and related disciplines. With full bibliographic coverage, monographs dating back to 1949, and journal coverage to 1975, this database contains over 565,000 records and over 200,000 dissertations and theses. The content also consists of multidisciplinary, international references from journal and magazine articles, books, book chapters, conference proceedings and more. SPORTDiscus is provided by the Sport Information Resource Centre. Premier Package customers will have instant access to full text for nearly 300 journals indexed in SPORTDiscus (at no additional charge). Users of SPORTDiscus will be excited to learn that this is now a "full text database".

Sports Market Analytics (formerly Sport Business Research Network/SBRnet)
Features market research and industry news covering all facets of the sport industry - equipment sales, participation, broadcasting, sponsorship and marketing. Includes a market research database. Wiley Online Library
A searchable and browsable database of all the electronic journals available from the WSU Libraries that are published by Wiley. Includes sports medicine journals among other content.
Elsevier ScienceDirect [Journal Publisher; journal and article database)
This resource contains the full text of Elsevier science journals with over 650 journals avilable in full text from 1995 to the present. This includes almost 300 title available at WSU in electronic form only.
Sage Journals Online
Publisher site - all the Sage journals WSU subscribes to (which is not all the Sage journals). Lots of social science stuff here, so good for those kinds of topics. Can search fulltext.

Actually there are a number of sites that provide joural abbreviations, but most are discipline (often broadly defined, i.e. science) or database-based.
