Palabra is a multi-player word/card game where the objective is to earn the most points. Each card in the deck has a letter A-Z, a numbered point value next to the letter, and a color (green, yellow, blue or red) or combination of colors. Some cards have stars on them, which double or triple the point value of the letter. The goal is to create words using the letters on the various cards. Players score more points for creating words of letters that are all the same colored card, have cards of all the same color (regardless if they spell out a word), or have "starred" cards that double or triple the point value of the words.
