Gobblet is a two player board game where the objective is to get four game pieces called "gobblets" in a row on the board, similarly to tic-tac-toe. The board game is 16 spaces (4 x 4) and each player has 12 gobblet pieces of varying sizes. Players can use larger gobblet pieces to remove smaller gobblet pieces belonging to their opponent to prevent their opponent from getting four pieces in a row. Each player takes turns placing one of their gobblet pieces on the game board, moving one of their gobblet pieces to an empty space, or using their larger gobblet piece to take their opponent's smaller gobblet piece.
