You can search your library to find specific citations.  Use the Search box under the References tab.  Specify the folder to be searched, if desired.

You can search certain external databases from within EndNote Basic.  Choices of databases are primarily limited to online library catalogs, PubMed, and Thomson-Reuters databases such as Web of Science and BIOSIS Previews (while on campus).  

NOTE: For topic searches, we recommend searching databases from their homepages. Search options from within EndNote Basic are limited.
