Maximizing Your WSU Libraries

This presentation will update attendees on the many resources and services that are available for them at the WSU Libraries. 

Objectives: By the end of the session attendees will be aware of library services and resources (including databases and journals) that are relevant to their work.


By the end of the session, attendees will get a refresher on how to search for, locate, and access work-relevant books, articles, and more.

I'm a Remote Worker - What's Here for Me? (Actually, we are all remote workers at times)

Most everything that isn't touching a floor! We call our library websites our digital branches :-)

Ways to access Libraries materials:

  • Be logged in with a WSU VPN
  • Be logged in at your library webpage with your WSU NetID
  • LibKey Nomad - "If you are doing research outside of the Libraries' website, use LibKey Nomad. LibKey Nomad connects you to full-text library resources with one click. It is a browser extension for Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or a Chromium-based browser (Brave, Vivaldi)."
  • Google Scholar Customization
