This guide explains the policies and procedures of Course Reserves for Instructors and Students

Welcome to Course Reserves general information

What are Course Reseves?

Course Reserves provide access to materials used in classes at Washington State University. They are physical items or electronic materials picked by the instructor to be used in specific class sections. There are several different types of materials that can be put on Course Reserves including:

  • Books (library owned or instructor owned)
  • Book chapters/ Excerpts
  • Journal articles
  • Course materials
  • Media like DVDs or online videos (library owned or instructor owned)

Location

Both libraries (H&T and Owen) on campus has a Reserves Unit, the primary Reserves Unit is at the main Circulation Desk of Holland and Terrell Libraries.
