Library Services for WSU Global Campus

The services on this guide apply to students enrolled through the WSU Global Campus only, and who do not live in the town of Pullman.

Requesting Items

Search It is the best database to find items that WSU Libraries have access to. Use the “WSU Global Campus Delivery” location option when requesting items.

If you are not able to place a request in Search It, you can request it through Interlibrary Loan. Make sure you’re logged into Search It to see requesting options.

There is no charge to request items through the library!

Receiving, Returning, & Renewing Items

Receiving Items

After you place your request, it will take 2-3 working days for us to mail your items to you. If you requested an item from another library, it will take a little longer because they will need to mail it to us.

We can’t mail items outside of the United States.

You will receive your items in a Priority Mail flat rate box through USPS. Keep this box to return your items later!

Returning Items

Inside of your box, you’ll find a postage-paid address label. If you don’t see these in your box or misplace them, you can request a new address label.

When it’s time to return your items:

  1. Repackage them in the box they came in

  2. Stick the included label to the box

  3. Drop the box off at the post office

If the box gets damaged, you can get a free replacement at the post office.

Renewing Items

You can renew items that you have checked out through Search It:

  1. Sign in

  2. Click on your name to access your account

  3. Select My Loans

  4. Click Renew

You can only renew Summit items once. If you’re unable to renew an item through Search It, you can contact us:

  • Email: libraries.ill@wsu.edu

  • Phone:  (509)335-9672.

Borrowing In-Person From Other Libraries

WSU belongs to a group of academic libraries (see list below) in Washington, Oregon, and the University of Idaho called Summit. You can check out items from any of the 35+ libraries through Search It or in person with your CougarCard.

Accessing E-Books

You can access many e-books through Search It. You can read them online or download them to your computer, phone, or e-reader to access them offline.
