Government Documents: Federal Documents

International, Federal, and State & Local, Government Documents at WSU Libraries

Federal Depository Library Program (FDLP)

The federal government established a system of depository libraries in 1813.  The WSU Libraries became a depository in 1907, number 0643, along with many other land grant institutional libraries.  As a selective depository we determine which publications of the government should be added to our collection.  The selection rate is currently around 70%.

The FDLP symbol is posted at the entryway to the Holland and Terrell Libraries and the Owen Science & Engineering Library, the sites of our 2 largest physical documents collections.  The Libraries' home page includes the FDLP icon as a link to this guide on the Government Documents Collections at WSU Libraries.
